Peruvian ground apple or yacon

Has anyone grown yacon or know where to get it in Canberra? It sounds like a super food. It is related to sunflowers and Jerusalem artichoke. The tubers are sweet. They are used as a substitute for sugar and its sugar is not metabolised so has a low GI. It can be cooked or eaten raw. I know you can grow it in Melbourne and I am sure it would do well here.
